Pilot Mountain Authorities were compiling records yesterday on missing teenagers in an attempt to identify the body of a young woman found stabbed to death near here. Spokesman for the Surry County Sheriff's Department said that the partially disrobed body was discovered by passers by shortly after 4pm Friday in some woods off Secrest Road near the Stokes-Surry County line.

An autopsy was preformed yesterday morning in Chapel Hill. Dr. J.G. Burke, Surry County Medical Examiner, said the autopsy showed that the Caucasion woman was in her mid-teens or early 20's and had died Tuesday or early Wednesday of multiple stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.

Dental records for several teenage girls reported missing in Forsyth, Stokes and Surry counties were collected yesterday, said Ron Perry of the State Bureau Of Investigations. The records will be taken today to the pathologist in Chapel Hill who conducted the autopsy, Perry said.
